Shining Stars Dinner

Each year the Zonta Club of West Hidalgo County honors three women of distinction. The women are selected for
their contributions in one of the following areas:

Community Service

Professional Contributions to the Community

Education and Youth.

These amazing women are honored annually in April at the Shining Stars event surrounded by club members, family
and friends. The 2019 Shining Stars Dinner was held on April 23, 2019 at McAllen Country Club.

Past Shining Stars Honorees are women of distinction. These women were selected for their contributions to our
community. They have demonstrated, through years of service and participation, that they live life to the fullest and
still have time for others.

Our Honorees were chosen not only because their actions touch so many lives in a positive manner but also because
they serve our community without expectation of recognition.

Through their contributions, the Rio Grande Valley is a better place for all residents.
